HOCATT Ozone SAUNA Therapy

What is a HOCATT?

HOCATT Ozone Therapy stands for Hyperthermic Ozone and Carbonic Acid Transdermal Therapy. It's a holistic ozone therapy designed to detoxify and rejuvenate the body. Harnessing the power of ozone, steam and far infra-red rays in a sauna environment, the HOCATT detoxes the body, strengthens the immune system and improves circulation and energy.

How Does HOCATT Work?
During a 30-minute session, you sit in the sauna with your head comfortable resting out of the top. Two main components, carbonic acid and ozone gas are used to optimize the effectiveness of the therapy.
First, the capsule is filled with carbonic acid and steam to open the pores of your skin which provides for better absorption and delivery of oxygen to your cells, and increased blood circulation. Next, ozone is released into the capsule, which reacts with the steam to neutralize any bacteria, yeast or fungal infections. Ozone has a positive charge and is drawn to negatively charged foreign cells, including bacteria, yeast, viruses and parasites, effectively neutralizing them.
The HOCATT is 7x more effective at detoxifying the body and binding to heavy metals than a traditional sauna. It reduces the level of mitochondrial stress in the cells, modulates the immune system, improves blood and lymph circulation and reduces stress and anxiety.

How to Prepare for your HOCATT Session?

-
Drink half of your body weight (pounds) in ounces of water.
-
HOCATT sessions can be very powerful to detoxify heavy metals and pesticides, energize, and kill off unwanted pathogens (mold/yeast, parasites, viruses, bacteria) in your body. It is very important that you come into your session very well hydrated and not on any recreational drugs or alcohol.
-
We recommend taking binders to help decrease the likelihood of possible detoxification reaction and support your body to easily release what is being mobilized.

Drink half of your body weight (pounds) in ounces of water the day prior to and the day of your session.

You want to be extra hydrated prior to treatment. During the initial phase of the HOCATT session, carbonic acid enters the chamber and causes dilation of the pores and vessels. This may lead to a mild drop of blood pressure which can worsen if you are dehydrated.
We recommend drinking Watt-ahh with LMNT electrolytes prior to and post treatment.
Consume a light meal or snack prior to your session. Do not eat a heavy meal within 2 hours of your session.

Metabolic activity increases in the HOCATT and you may lose up to 600 calories. It is good to have a snack with a good quality fat, small amount of protein and a complex carbohydrate prior to your session to help maintain blood sugar levels. We do not advise eating large meals within 2 hours of treatment to prevent any possible nausea.

Do not do a HOCATT session if you are actively bleeding.

Since the HOCATT increases circulation in the body, this may make bleeding worse. This includes wounds that may be bleeding, intestinal bleeding or menstrual bleeding.
Take binders.

You may start binders 1-2 days prior to the HOCATT session and continue them for 2-3 days after. This may help prevent a potential herxheimer (die-off) or detoxification reaction. Binders bind toxins in the gut, so they can be released from the body and not recirculated through the intestinal system. Binders include charcoal, chlorella, zeolite clay, biotoxin binder, bentonite clay, PC ecklonia cava, silica, and modified citrus pectin. We recommend Takisumi or Full Binder Plus.
Consume extra minerals.

When the body detoxifies heavy metals and pesticides, it leaves a “hole” where the toxin was located. It’s important to fill these holes with good minerals in order for the cell to function optimally, and so it doesn’t re-accumulate a new toxin. We suggest adding LMNT to Watt-ahh for best results.
